Three bound volumes entitled Replica al Alegato del Ecuador and documenting the boundary dispute between Ecuador and Peru over the provinces of Mainas, Jaén, and Tumbes. Another bound volume documents the dispute between the Peruvian government and the French company owned by N. Barbier and T. Fenestre over the construction of lighthouses along the Peruvian coast.

Peruvian lawyer, civil servant, and author of several studies of Peru and Latin America. Calderon was commissioned in 1892 to arbitrate the boundary dispute between Peru and Ecuador.
